12                 BE IT REMEMBERED THAT on Monday,

14  public comment hearing was held from 1:01 p.m. to

4                 MR. WASSDORF:  Good morning.  This is
5   Pete Wassdorf.  I'm an attorney in the Legal Division
6   of the Texas Lottery Commission, and we are having a
7   public hearing on Power Ball rules which were proposed
8   on November 17th of 2009 by the Commission.
9                 It's now just about one minute after
10  1 o'clock, and there's not any witnesses that have
11  arrived at this time.  In order to give everybody an
12  opportunity, we're going to begin this hearing and
13  then immediately adjourn it for about 10 minutes, to
14  make sure that everybody has an opportunity to be
15  here.
16                So we'll now adjourn.  Thank you.
17                (Recess:  1:02 p.m. to 1:10 p.m.)
18                MR. WASSDORF:  Okay.  It's 10 minutes
19  after 1:00, and we're going to reconvene the public
20  hearing on Administrative Rule 16 Texas Administrative
21  Code 401.317.
22                We initiated the hearing at 1 o'clock
23  today, and no one was here to testify.  And we
24  adjourned for 10 minutes, to make sure that everybody
25  had an opportunity to get here.
